THE VISION

In October, the Christian Resources Exhibition was held at Stadium MK and after meeting together, Ecclesia Generation Ministries and Refreshment UK have been working with the club to arrange a day of prayer on Saturday 11th January 2025. We would love for you to be part of it and it is called ‘UNITED IN PRAYER’.

 

Ecclesia Generation Ministries are passionate about bringing churches together in prayer. Their regular gatherings in Milton Keynes have happened in Denbigh and at the IGGC Kharis Temple in Bletchley. They have had a desire and vision for a while to see prayer happening at Stadium MK.

 

Refreshment UK are a missional charity based in Blackpool and experienced event managers. Their aim is to be obvious in the gospel, bless local churches and engage with the culture, and most of their events happen in locations well-known to the public. They are members of the Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together. On the Fylde Coast, they work with 47 churches and are nationally known for their monthly prayer meeting at the top of Blackpool Tower.

 

The event at Stadium MK has been arranged to fit in with the club’s fixtures and the ballroom has been made available which can seat hundreds. We are inviting people from Milton Keynes and beyond to come to pray for church unity, local organisations in the area and for peace in 2025.

 

The event will include times of prayer and worship led by Refresh Worship, a collaboration of worshippers from across the country and will also feature some workshops in the afternoon. We will be praying specifically for local dignitaries in person and have separate prayer rooms.

 

We believe the best thing that we can do at the start of 2025 is dedicate a time to pray and for local churches, this fits in with the covenant programme at the start of the year. The event is open to all who would be willing to pray and free to register.
